How to Claim Your Advance Copy

The Boy Who Broke the Freeze is looking for individuals and institutions to help connect the book with potential readers. Whether you are an educator, leader, reviewer, parent, or reader, we'd like to give you an advance copy of the book, so you can read it and spread the word before its official release.

If you are interested in reading the book, we'll send you a copy as a pdf download at no cost. All we ask in return is for you to reach out to your friends and acquaintances and share your enthusiasm about the book.

It might mean posting a heartfelt review on your social media or making the book available to your students, family members or employees. Or perhaps you know someone who would enjoy reviewing the book and can refer them to our website to get a free copy. The author welcomes the opportunity to engage with classrooms, church groups, podcasts and radio and tv broadcasts to talk about writing craft and the inspiration behind the book. As one of the first readers of The Boy Who Broke the Freeze, you'll play an important role in spreading the word.

To get copies of the book for a class or group reading project, provide your participants with the link on the website—theboywhobrokethefreeze.com—so that each of them can download a pdf copy of the book. Alternately, you are allowed to distribute a pdf copy to each of your participants yourself, requesting they not share the book further.

If your class members signed up to receive a copy of the book online, they will be receiving instructions by email on how to submit feedback and corrections. If they received their book copies directly from you, please collect a two-sentence quote about their reading experience along with their corrections from each of them and email them to edward@theboywhobrokethefreeze.com.

Please feel free to contact us by email if you'd like to receive curriculum or study guides for class study, or to receive instructions for launching a "Break the Freeze" campaign at your school. Don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help you with anything you might need and answer any of your questions.

We'll send your download link for your pdf copy of the book by email. If you don't receive it within 15 minutes, check your spam and trash folders. If you still haven't received it, contact us at edward@theboywhobrokethefreeze.com, and we'll send you a copy of the book as an email attachment.
